Peanut Butter Lasagna
Description
This Peanut Butter Lasagna starts with a crust of finely crushed Oreo cookies mixed with melted butter pressed into a pan and frozen briefly to set. The peanut butter layer is a combination of softened cream cheese, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk, and whipped topping, blended until fluffy and spread over the crust. This creates a dense but light peanut butter filling with a slightly sweet profile.
Over this, a thicker-than-usual instant chocolate pudding layer made from two boxes of pudding mix and reduced milk solidifies atop the peanut butter. Once set, the dessert is finished with additional whipped topping and a variety of toppings including chopped mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, peanut butter chips, and optional chocolate syrup, adding texture and intensified peanut butter and chocolate flavors.
The dessert is chilled for at least three hours to let layers firm and blend flavors. It offers a mix of creamy, crunchy, and soft components with prominent chocolate and peanut butter tastes. This no-bake recipe requires some freezer and refrigerator time but provides an easy layered dessert without baking.
