Peanut Butter Mug Cake

This quick and easy peanut butter mug cake is great any time of the day! It takes only 5 minutes from start to finish. The texture is soft, fluffy, and gooey. You will love the chocolate peanut butter flavor!

Ingredients

Servings
  • 2 tbsp oat flour
  • 2 tbsp protein powder
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter all natural creamy
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • cup milk dairy free or regular
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. First, add all ingredients except for the chocolate chips to a mug or ramekin. Stir to combine.
  2. Microwave for 50 to 60 seconds. Remove from the microwave. If needed, microwave for an additional 10 seconds.
  3. Carefully remove the mug cake from the microwave with oven mitts. Immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
  4. Finally, serve!

Notes

  • kitchen favorites
  • If you do not have protein powder, replace it with more oat flour.
  • Use all natural creamy peanut butter made from only peanuts and salt.
  • The batter will be relatively thin.
  • Do not microwave too long or the cake will become rubbery.
  • Immediately top with chocolate chips so they melt!
  • This mug cake is best eaten immediately.  I do not recommend making it ahead of time.
