Peanut Butter Oat Bars
Description
Peanut Butter Oat Bars blend simple ingredients: peanut butter, honey, and oats. Heating the peanut butter and honey melds the flavors and softens the mixture to bind the oats. After mixing in the old fashioned oats, the mixture is pressed into a greased pan and refrigerated until set, resulting in a dense, chewy bar with a creamy nutty profile and natural sweetness.
The bars require minimal equipment and no baking, making them convenient for those looking for an easy snack to prepare ahead. The combination of peanut butter and oats offers some protein and fiber, while honey adds sweetness without refined sugar.
