Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies with Chocolate Chips
Description
Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies with Chocolate Chips blend peanut butter and butter for a rich, moist base while the oats add chewiness and texture. The inclusion of both granulated and brown sugars creates a subtle caramel note and balanced sweetness. Eggs and vanilla extract help bind ingredients and add flavor depth.
Dry ingredients of flour, oats, and baking soda are combined into the mixture to create a dough that holds its shape on baking. Chocolate chips folded in provide occasional bursts of semi-sweet chocolate. Baking at 350°F for about 10 minutes produces cookies with lightly browned edges and soft centers.
These cookies make a satisfying treat to enjoy fresh or as a snack throughout the day. Cooling on the baking sheet before transferring preserves their shape and tenderness.
