Peanut Clusters Recipe
Description
This recipe melds three types of chips— butterscotch, semi-sweet chocolate, and peanut butter— into a smooth melted mixture that envelops the peanuts. The process involves melting the chips together gently, then folding in the peanuts to distribute them evenly throughout the chocolate mix. The mixture is portioned out onto parchment paper and allowed to cool until firm, resulting in clusters that hold their shape and showcase the combination of various sweet and nutty tastes.
The texture contrast comes from the crunchy peanuts surrounded by a creamy, sweet coating. These clusters make a convenient snack or dessert that requires minimal preparation and no baking.
Ingredients
- 16 oz cocktail peanuts
- 1 bag butterscotch chips
- 1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 bag peanut butter chips
Instructions
- Start by melting the chips together. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into a bowl.
- Add the entire jar of peanuts into the chocolate (I added 1½ jars).
- Scoop a spoonful of the mixture onto parchment paper. Let set, and ENJOY!
