Pecan and Coconut Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Description
The Pecan and Coconut Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe blends large-flake oats, toasted pecans, and flaked coconut to add layers of texture and nutty flavors to the traditional chocolate chip cookie. The creaming of salted butter with white and brown sugars creates a sweet, tender base that balances the nuttiness and coconut. Using baking soda and eggs helps achieve a chewy yet crisp texture once baked at 350°F until golden.
The combination of pecans and coconut flakes enhances both flavor and chewiness, while chocolate chips add pockets of sweetness throughout. The cookies are portioned into balls spaced apart on baking sheets, allowing them to expand and brown evenly. Cooling on the baking sheet before transferring to racks finishes the cooking gently, preserving softness inside with a slight crunch on the exterior.
This recipe is suitable when you want a rich, varied-texture cookie that pairs well with milk or coffee, offering both nutty and sweet notes in every bite.
