Peppermint White Chocolate Brownies

Report
Peppermint White Chocolate Brownies take a traditional fudge brownie base enhanced with peppermint extract and a topping of melted peppermint or white chocolate chips sprinkled with crushed candy canes. These brownies blend rich chocolate texture with a cool, minty finish, ideal for holiday treats or festive occasions.

Description

This recipe starts with preparing a boxed fudge brownie mix, using the included egg and oil but adding peppermint extract for a refreshing mint flavor integrated throughout the brownies. Once baked and cooled, the brownies are topped with melted peppermint or white chocolate chips to form a smooth layer. Additional peppermint extract can be stirred into the melted chips to reinforce the mint profile.

The final step is sprinkling crushed candy cane pieces or Starlight Mints over the chocolate before it sets, adding crunch and bright peppermint notes. Cutting the brownies while the topping is still soft ensures clean slices with a minty, chocolatey bite in every piece.

This treat is especially suitable for sharing at cookie exchanges or holiday gatherings, where smaller pieces allow everyone to enjoy a taste of the peppermint chocolate combination.
