Pesto Caprese Bites with Balsamic Reduction

  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 8 pieces Wasa Multi Grain Crispbread may substitute other Wasa varieties
  • ¼ cup basil pesto
  • 8 ounces smoked mozzarella thinly sliced
  • 2 roma tomatoes thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup basil leaves

Instructions

  1. To make the balsamic reduction, add balsamic vinegar to a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil until thick and reduced, about 4-5 minutes.
  2. To assemble the bites, generously spread 1 tablespoon pesto on each Wasa Crispbread. Top with 2 slices mozzarella, 2 slices tomatoes and basil leaves. Drizzle with balsamic reduction.
