Ingredients
- 1 tube (8 ounces) crescent roll dough
- 24 links cocktail-sized sausages
- 1 large egg, beaten
Garlic Butter (optional but recommended)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a cutting board. Using a pizza cutter, cut the rolled-out dough in half lengthwise. Then, cut each rectangle of dough into 12, 2-inch strips. You will need a total of 24 strips of dough.
- Place one sausage onto each strip of dough. Tightly roll the sausage link in the dough until it is completely wrapped.
- Place the dough-wrapped sausage links onto the baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
- Use a pastry brush to brush the outside of each with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes*, or until the dough is golden brown. While the wrapped sausage links are baking, mix together the garlic butter.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and pepper. Brush over the baked pigs in a blanket.
- Serve warm with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
