Piña Colada (Creamy pineapple cocktail with rum)

Piña colada is a traditional cocktail that is prepared with rum, pineapple juice and coconut cream, originating from Puerto Rico.

Ingredients
- 2 oz. white rum from Puerto Rico
- 1 oz. coconut cream
- 1 oz. heavy cream , optional
- ¾ cup fresh homemade pineapple juice
- crushed ice , about 5 oz. / 150g
For the decor
- 1 lice pineapple
- 1 maraschino cherry
Equipment
- blender
- Poco grande glass (or hurricane glass)
Instructions
- Pour all the ingredients and the crushed ice into the bowl of a blender.
- Blend for about 15 seconds or until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a hurricane glass.
- Decorate with a slice of pineapple and a maraschino cherry.
- Serve immediately.
