Pink Lemonade Ice Cream Pie
Description
This no-bake dessert starts by softening vanilla ice cream to a scoopable consistency and thoroughly mixing in pink lemonade Kool-Aid powder until dissolved. The acidity and flavor from the lemonade powder infuse the ice cream with a bright citrus taste, cutting through the richness of the vanilla. To enhance the pink color, a few drops of food coloring can be stirred in without affecting the flavor profile.
The mixture is then poured into a pre-made graham cracker pie crust that contributes a crunchy, slightly sweet base. The pie is covered and frozen for at least an hour to firm up and develop a sliceable consistency. The final dessert is smooth and creamy with a refreshing lemon flavor and a firm crust providing texture contrast.
