Pizza Bowl

With this Pizza Bowl, you can enjoy all the flavors of pizza without the crust in a healthy 30-minute bowl that the whole family is sure to love!

Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb turkey sausage
- ½ onion, diced
- ½ green pepper, diced
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- desired toppings such as sliced black olives, pepperoni, banana peppers etc.
Instructions
- Add the olive oil and turkey sausage to a medium pot over medium heat. Cook, breaking the turkey up with a spoon, until it is fully cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- Once the sausage is cooked, add the onion, mushrooms and bell pepper, stirring to combine. Continue to cook until the vegetables have softened, about 10 minutes.
- Once the vegetables have softened, about 5 minutes, add the marinara sauce to the pot. Stir to combine and then remove from the heat.
- Spread the marinara mixture onto the bottom of an oven-safe serving bowl. Layer the bowl with cheese and toppings of your choice. Then, either microwave each bowl for 1 minute or bake them at 350 for 5 minutes until the cheese melts and serve.
