Pizza Dip

Pizza Dip layers softened cream cheese seasoned with Italian herbs and garlic powder, topped with pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, mini pepperoni, olives, and diced green bell pepper, baked until hot and bubbly. Finished with fresh parsley, it serves as a creamy and cheesy appetizer reminiscent of pizza flavors.

Description

This dip starts by blending softened cream cheese with Italian seasoning and garlic powder, creating a smooth, flavorful base spread evenly in a baking dish. Pizza sauce is layered on top, followed by shredded mozzarella cheese and arranged toppings of mini pepperoni, sliced olives, and finely diced bell pepper to provide variety in taste and texture.

Baking the dip melts the cheese and warms the toppings, melding flavors and forming a gooey, savory spread. Garnishing with chopped parsley adds freshness and a touch of color contrast. The dip is intended for serving warm, perfect for scooping with bread, crackers, or vegetable sticks.

The dip can be prepared a few hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator, baking shortly before serving. It may require slightly longer baking times if baked from cold. The recipe is straightforward and highlights familiar pizza ingredients in an easy-to-share format.
