Pizza Muffins

Pizza Muffins turn crescent roll dough into individual muffin-shaped snacks topped with pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, and mini pepperoni. Baked until golden with melted cheese, they offer a handheld, savory treat with a soft dough base and familiar pizza flavors. Parsley adds a fresh touch for garnish. This recipe is convenient for casual gatherings or quick bites.

Description

Pizza Muffins use crescent roll dough cut into squares pressed into a muffin tin to form bite-sized cups. Each cup is filled with pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, and mini pepperoni pieces before baking. The dough browns evenly, resulting in a slightly crisp outer edge with a soft, fluffy interior that holds the melty cheese and savory pepperoni.

The combination of ingredients recreates a pizza taste profile in a compact, muffin form that’s easy to serve and eat by hand. Parsley sprinkled over the top adds a mild herbal freshness balancing the richness of cheese and meat.

This approach provides a fun appetizer or snack that can be prepared quickly and served warm. It’s suitable for casual entertaining or as a kid-friendly finger food. Using crescent roll dough makes the base dough accessible and simple to manage.
