Pizza Rolls

Pizza Rolls are made by rolling out pizza dough, layering with chopped pepperoni and shredded mozzarella, then rolling into a log, slicing into pieces, and baking until golden. A garlic and Italian seasoning butter glaze brushed on top adds flavor and moisture. Served with warm marinara for dipping, these rolls offer a cheesy, savory snack or appetizer with a soft dough exterior and melted cheese inside.

Description

The dough is rolled into a rectangle and topped evenly with chopped pepperoni and shredded mozzarella cheese. Rolling the dough tightly along the long end forms a log filled with savory ingredients. Slicing the log into 1-inch pieces allows each roll to contain a spiral of dough and filling. The rolls are placed on a baking sheet lined with parchment or greased surface.

Before baking, a glaze made of melted butter mixed with garlic powder and Italian seasoning is brushed over the rolls. This adds a flavorful, golden finish and a slight sheen. Baking at 400 degrees until golden produces a soft dough with melted cheese and pepperoni inside. Parmesan cheese can be sprinkled on top for extra flavor.

These rolls are typically served warm, accompanied by marinara sauce for dipping. They work well as a party snack, appetizer, or quick meal component with familiar pizza flavors.
