Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup potato chips, lightly crushed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat 1 cup unsalted butter, ¾ cup brown sugar, and 1 cup granulated sugar together until they are light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add 2 large eggs, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Add 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt and mix until combined.
- Carefully stir in 1 cup milk chocolate chips and 1 cup potato chips, crushed until combined.
- Use a medium cookie scoop (about 3 tablespoons) to scoop the dough onto the prepared pans, leaving 2 inches between the cookies.
- Bake for 7-8 minutes or until the edges are just starting to brown. They will look underdone, but they will continue to bake as they cool down.
- Leave the cookies on the pan for 3-4 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
- Sprinkle with sea salt for an additional salty flavor!
