Pumpkin Chili

This pumpkin chili blends ground beef with black beans, tomatoes, and pumpkin puree, producing a hearty stew with warm spices like chili powder, cumin, and cinnamon. The addition of pumpkin provides a subtle sweetness and creamy texture, elevating the traditional chili profile. It's slow-cooked to meld the flavors deeply.

Description

Pumpkin Chili pairs ground beef sautéed with onions and bell pepper, combined in a slow cooker with beans, tomatoes, pumpkin puree, and a blend of chili powder, cumin, and cinnamon. The slow cooking process allows the spices and pumpkin to enrich the savory base, giving the chili a subtle sweetness and a smooth texture.

The chili can be served topped with common chili additions such as cheese, sour cream, or crispy tortilla strips, adding contrast in texture and creaminess to the warm stew.

Nutrition information offered is approximate; actual values vary by ingredient brands and toppings. Adjust chili powder to taste if more heat is desired and season with salt and pepper accordingly.
