  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon cloves ground
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Frosting:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup light brown sugar packed
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars for the cookies. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well. Stir in the pumpkin.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift together the baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, salt and flour. Add the dry mixture to the pumpkin batter and mix until combined.
