Pumpkin Spice Puppy Chow

Report
Pumpkin Spice Puppy Chow is a sweet snack made by coating Chex cereal with melted orange candy chips mixed with pumpkin pie spice, then tossing it in powdered sugar. The result is a crispy, sweet, spiced treat with a festive fall flavor and optional mix-ins like pumpkin candies or Halloween-themed M&Ms for extra texture and color. It's great for parties, snack time, or holiday treats.

Description

This recipe involves melting orange candy melts in the microwave, stirring in pumpkin pie spice for seasonal flavor, then coating Chex cereal pieces evenly with the spiced candy coating. The coated cereal is then shaken with powdered sugar to create a crisp, sweet exterior.

The combination of the crunchy Chex, sweet candy coating, and the warm spice blend creates a distinctive autumn-inspired snack. Optional candy mix-ins like pumpkin-shaped candies or seasonal M&Ms can add variety in texture and sweetness.

Once coated and spread on parchment, the mix should set for about an hour to allow the candy coating to harden and maintain its crisp texture. This treat is best enjoyed fresh but can also be stored for snacking over several days.
