Queso Chicken Tacos combine slow-cooked shredded chicken with a creamy salsa con queso sauce for a rich taco filling. Ingredients
- 3 chicken breast
- 1 pkg taco seasoning or 2 Tablespoons Homemade Taco Seasoning
- 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies 10 oz can
- 1 can diced green chiles 4 oz can
- 1 jar salsa con queso 15 oz
- 12-18 flour tortillas small
- Taco Toppings!
Instructions
- Place the chicken, taco seasoning, diced tomatoes and diced green chiles in a crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken and stir in the Salsa con Queso. Cover and cook on low for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is heated through.
- Serve on the tortillas with your favorite taco toppings and enjoy!
Notes
- Store any leftover chicken mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
