Quick Garlic Lime Marinated Pork Chops
Description
This recipe starts by trimming excess fat from pork chops and combining them with a marinade of crushed garlic, ground cumin, chili powder, paprika, lime juice and zest, kosher salt, and black pepper. The mixture is allowed to marinate at least 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to penetrate the meat.
The pork chops can be cooked under a broiler or grilled over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned. This high heat cooking caramelizes the exterior for a flavorful crust while preserving juiciness within. The marinade's garlic and spices complement the citrus aroma from lime, balancing richness with brightness and warmth.
This quick recipe suits straightforward weeknight meals, serving well alongside vegetables, grains, or salads. It lends itself to simple grilling or broiling techniques without complicated preparation.
