Quick Stir Fried Green Beans Recipe

This Quick Stir Fried Green Beans recipe features green beans cooked until just tender with ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and chili garlic sauce, accented by sesame oil for a touch of nuttiness. The method yields crisp-tender beans with savory and mildly spicy flavors, making it a flavorful side dish suitable for everyday meals.

Description

Green beans are trimmed and cut before being stir fried in a hot wok or skillet with avocado (or canola or grapeseed) oil. Minced ginger and garlic are added to infuse aromatic depth. The beans cook for several minutes, occasionally stirred to develop slight charring and to retain a crisp texture.

A sauce made of soy or tamari and chili garlic sauce is incorporated towards the end, delivering umami and mild heat. Sesame oil added just before serving brings a toasted aroma and flavor. This quick technique highlights freshness and rounds the beans into a simple, savory vegetable side.
