Cake:

  • 2 boxes French Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 3 large egg
  • 1 Cup butter unsalted
  • 2 Cups milk whole
  • Food Coloring red gel and sky blue gel
  • 1 pouch Sprinkles red, white and blue

Vanilla glaze:

  • 2 Cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 3-5 tbsp milk whole
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

Cake:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray the bundt pan and set aside.
  3. Using a standing mixer, combine all of the cake ingredients and mix on medium speed until fully combined, about 5 minutes.
  4. Divide the batter into 3 bowls.
  5. Add in red food coloring into one bowl and mix until combined.
  6. Add in blue food coloring into the second bowl and mix until combined.
  7. Leave the third bowl white.
  8. Using a spoon, Spoon a spoonful of each color into the bundt pan, alternating between colors.
  9. Once done, place into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Once timer goes off poke cake with a toothpick to see if it comes out clean.
  11. Let cool completely in the bundt pan.
  12. Once cooled, place a serving plate onto the top of the bundt pan and flip over so that the cake can come out onto the plate.

Glaze:

  1. Combine all ingredients into a large bowl and mix until smooth.
  2. Pour the glaze into a measuring cup or a large cup to easy pour.

Decorating:

  1. Pour the glaze onto the cake letting it drip down the sides.
  2. Sprinkle some patriotic sprinkles onto the glaze.
  3. Let the glaze harden before enjoying!
