Reese's Bark
Description
This Reese's Bark recipe begins by melting half the semi-sweet chocolate chips and spreading them evenly in a lined pan. After chilling briefly to set, a smooth peanut butter filling is made by beating creamy peanut butter with powdered sugar and melted butter. This creamy filling is spread over the hardened chocolate layer.
The remaining chocolate chips are melted and poured over the peanut butter layer to create a chocolate topping. The bark is chilled in the refrigerator until firm, then sliced into chunks suitable for snacking or sharing. The result is a multi-layered confection with contrasting textures—firm chocolate shells surrounding the smooth peanut butter center.
This dessert can be stored refrigerated and cut into portions easily, making it ideal for parties or gifts.
