Refreshing Strawberry Lassi
Description
The recipe calls for chopping fresh strawberries or using frozen ones, then combining them with plain whole milk yogurt, cold milk or water to adjust consistency, sugar, and optional cardamom powder in a blender. Blending until frothy creates a smooth, thick lassi with bright fruit flavor and creamy texture from yogurt. Cardamom adds subtle aromatic warmth without overpowering the strawberries.
Adjusting milk or water allows you to tailor the thickness to your preference. Serving chilled preserves freshness and refreshment qualities. Garnishing with additional strawberry pieces adds texture and appeal. This lassi can be enjoyed as a snack, breakfast beverage, or a light dessert.
For variation, topping with vanilla or strawberry ice cream makes a richer dessert version. Saffron strands can also be added for extra aroma. The lassi stores well refrigerated for up to a day but is best fresh to retain its frothy texture.

- 1 cup PLAIN yogurt whole milk yogurt, cold
- 1/2 cup milk cold, or water to adjust consistency
