Salmon Florentine (25 Minutes)
Description
The recipe begins by seasoning salmon filets with garlic parsley salt before searing them in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through. The skillet is then used to cook sliced baby bella mushrooms until browned, followed by the addition of minced garlic for fragrance. Heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese are added and cooked to thicken the sauce slightly.
Fresh baby spinach is incorporated last, wilting gently to retain color and texture. The seasoned sauce, balanced with a bit of salt, is spooned over the salmon, combining creamy, savory, and earthy elements with the flaky, flavorful fish. This method leverages the skillet for both salmon and sauce, making preparation efficient.
The dish is served warm, making it suitable for a quick yet refined dinner. It highlights a combination of seafood with classic Florentine ingredients for texture and flavor contrast.
