Sheet Pan Steak Fajitas

Sheet Pan Steak Fajitas bring together marinated flank steak, bell peppers, onions, jalapeños, and garlic all baked on a single pan. Coated with fajita seasoning, lime zest, and oil, the ingredients roast together allowing flavors to meld while the steak cooks to desired doneness. The filling is served warm in flour tortillas and garnished with staples like guacamole, Pico de Gallo, cilantro, and sour cream for a classic Tex-Mex experience.

Description

Sheet Pan Steak Fajitas feature sliced flank steak and a mix of bell peppers, onions, jalapeños, and garlic seasoned with lime zest, fajita seasoning, and vegetable oil. These ingredients are spread on a foil-lined sheet pan and baked at 350°F until the steak reaches desired doneness. The oven roasting method softens the vegetables while keeping some texture and allows the steak to stay juicy.

The flavor profile combines zesty lime, savory fajita spices, and the mild heat of jalapeños, creating a warmly spiced filling. Assembling the cooked meat and vegetables into small flour tortillas makes for a handheld meal with layers of flavor and texture.

Serving the fajitas with garnishes such as guacamole, Pico de Gallo, fresh cilantro, shredded lettuce, and sour cream adds freshness, creaminess, and additional flavor contrasts. This approach offers a straightforward, balanced meal with minimal cleanup due to one pan preparation.
