Shrimp Stuffed Salmon
Description
Shrimp Stuffed Salmon uses fresh cream cheese blended with chopped herbs including parsley and dill, seasoned with Old Bay seasoning, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Large raw shrimp are chopped and folded into the cream cheese mixture, adding seafood texture and flavor inside the salmon. The salmon fillets are carefully slit to create a pocket for the shrimp mixture and then baked at 400ºF until cooked to preference, typically 11–14 minutes, letting the flavors meld.
The combination of creamy, herbed shrimp filling paired with flaky, tender salmon produces a dish with both richness and fresh notes from the herbs and lemon zest. The baking method allows the filling to set and the salmon to remain moist but cooked through.
This dish suits a main course alongside simple sides such as steamed vegetables or rice, benefiting from the flavorful seafood pairing. Serving immediately after baking preserves the creamy texture of the filling and the salmon’s juiciness.
