Shrimp Tortellini Alfredo

Report
Shrimp Tortellini Alfredo combines cheese-filled tortellini with a creamy sauce made from butter, heavy cream, cream cheese, and Parmesan. Garlic powder adds a subtle savory note, while cooked shrimp is gently incorporated for protein and seafood flavor. The sauce thickens to a luscious coating for pasta and shrimp, creating a rich, comforting dish.

Description

This recipe begins by boiling cheese tortellini according to package instructions and draining them. Meanwhile, butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese are heated and stirred until melted and smooth. Parmesan cheese and garlic powder are added next, and the sauce simmers on low heat until thickened to a creamy consistency. Frozen cooked shrimp are thawed with cold water, then gently stirred into the sauce to warm without overcooking.

The cooked tortellini is added to the skillet and stirred carefully, allowing the creamy sauce to coat the pasta and shrimp thoroughly. Optional garnish such as parsley adds a fresh color contrast. The final dish is rich and smooth, with tender shrimp and soft cheesy tortellini, suitable for a warming meal.

Doubling the Alfredo sauce ingredients is suggested for those who prefer more sauce coverage. Serving should be prompt to maintain creaminess and texture.
