Simple field salad, or mache salad, with two ingredients plus dressing. Comes together fast and tastes great.

Ingredients
Salad
- 2.7 oz (75g) Field Salad leaves (Also known as Mache salad, corn Salad, Lamb's salad, Rapunzel lettuce)
- 1.8 oz (50g) feta cheese
Dressing
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar (Or use Apple Cider Vinegar or dark balsamic vinegar)
- ⅛ tsp salt, or to taste
- ⅛ tsp fresh ground black pepper
- Pinch of dry minced garlic (Optional)
Instructions
- Wash salad leaves and place in sieve to remove excess water. Or use salad spinner/dryer. Once done, place salad leaves into a big salad bowl.
- Cut Feta cheese into squares and add to the salad leaves.
Dressing
- Combine olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper together either in a bowl or a jar. Stir good together (or shake well in a jar).
- Add dressing to the salad and mix well.
