Sinigang na Sugpo Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2.2 lbs. Shrimp Tiger prawn, aka sugpo
  • 1 sinigang mix Knorr brand, 40g pack, original flavor
  • 4 to 6 pieces okra
  • 12 to 15 pieces yardlong bean Snake Beans, cut in 2 inch pieces, aka sitaw
  • 1 daikon radish Daikon radish, sliced, medium labanos
  • 3 tomato wedged, medium
  • 3 yellow onion wedged, medium
  • 3 to 5 pieces finger chili pepper long green pepper, aka siling pansigang
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce fish sauce, aka patis
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 2 quarts water

Instructions

  1. Pour water into a cooking pot. Let boil.
  2. Add onion and tomato. Cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Add Knorr Sinigang sa Sampaloc Recipe Mix. Stir.
  4. Put the Labanos and siling pansigang into the pot. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the Sugpo. Gently stir. Continue to cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Put Okra and Sitaw into the pot. Cook for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Season with patis and ground black pepper. Stir.
  8. Add Kangkong. Cover the pot. Turn the heat off. Let it stay for at least 5 minutes.
  9. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve!
  10. Share and enjoy!
