Slow Cooker Bacon Ribs
Report
How to cook the most delicious slow cooker bacon ribs. An old fashioned alternative to traditional ribs, they are easy to dump in the slow cooker and then serve for supper.

Ingredients
- 1.5 kg Bacon Ribs
Bacon Ribs Marinade
- 1 medium onion
- 1 Tbsp Garlic puree
- 100 ml soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp worcester sauce
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp Chinese five spice
Sticky Glaze
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 bottle barbecue sauce
- 1 Tbsp Chinese 5 spice
- 2 Tsp worcester sauce
Kitchen Gadgets:
- Crockpot
Instructions
- Peel and dice your onion. Add to the slow cooker your diced onion and your marinade ingredients.
- Mix well with a spoon.
- Add in your bacon ribs and mix well. Slow cook for 4 hours on high or 7 hours on low.
- Remove the bacon ribs from the slow cooker and any liquid.
- Then in the slow cooker add the sticky glaze ingredients and mix well.
- Toss the bacon ribs in the glaze and then serve.
Notes
- Size. Its better to chop up the bacon ribs first so that they will easily fit in the slow cooker and that its easy for them to be tossed in the marinade ingredients.
- Optional. If you want to you can load the bacon ribs into a Ziploc bag and marinade overnight but I don’t feel like they need it.
