  • 680 g chicken thighs skinless and boneless
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 100 ml chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 garlic crushed, cloves
  • basil chopped; to serve, fresh

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon Paprika, 1 teaspoon Garlic granules and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
  2. Sprinkle the spice blend over 680 g Chicken thighs and rub it all over, fully coating the thighs.
  3. Put 1 tablespoon Olive oil in a large pan and heat over a medium. Place the thighs topside down in the pan and fry for 4 minutes.
  4. Transfer the chicken to your slow cooker.
  5. Add 2 Garlic cloves, 100 ml Chicken stock and 2 tablespoon Butter.
  6. Cook on high for 2.5 hours or low for 3-4 hours.

  • Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in the slow cooker to ensure even cooking and moisture retention.
  • Enhance freshness by adding a splash of lemon to the chicken stock before cooking.
  • To maintain a crisper texture in the chicken, place a tea towel between the slow cooker lid and pot to absorb condensation.
