Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz each
- ½ cup milk
- 1 block cream cheese 8 oz, cut into cubes

Instructions
- Spray the insert of a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray or use a Crock Pot liner.
- Place the raw chicken breasts in a single layer on the bottom. Season it with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Whisk together the cream of chicken soup with the milk and pour it over the chicken.
- Cut the cream cheese into cubes and place it evenly in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F.
- Remove chicken from the slow cooker onto a cutting board and shred with two forks.
- Return chicken to slow cooker and mix to combine well.
- Serve over rice, egg noodles, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
- The chicken will not be as juicy if you cook it on high.
- If you don't have your own Italian seasoning, mix 2 tablespoons of oregano and basil with 1 tablespoon of rosemary, and ½ a tablespoon of thyme
- If you are a fan of spice, you can add some red pepper flakes to your spice mix for a little more heat.
- You can also make this recipe with chicken thighs.
- Condensed soups are salty, so don't add too much salt to this dish. You can always add more right before serving.
