Slow Cooker Pumpkin Bread Pudding

Slow Cooker Pumpkin Bread Pudding is a warm, spiced dessert melding cinnamon raisin bread with pumpkin puree, milk, maple extract, and nutmeg. Slow cooking softens the bread as it soaks in a sweet, pumpkin-flavored custard accented by caramel sauce. The accompanying pumpkin glaze adds extra sweetness and spice when served.

Description

This pumpkin bread pudding uses cubed cinnamon raisin bread layered in a slow cooker with a custard mixture of milk, pumpkin puree, maple extract, brown sugar, nutmeg, and eggs, ensuring the bread absorbs the rich pumpkin-spiced flavors. Cooking on low for 2.5 hours gently sets the pudding without drying it out.

The drizzled caramel sauce on top adds a deep, sweet contrast to the warmly spiced pudding beneath. After cooking, a glaze made from pumpkin puree, milk, powdered sugar, and optional pumpkin spice is whisked smooth and poured over each serving, enhancing the pumpkin flavor and adding moisture and sweetness.

Served warm, this pudding makes a comforting fall or holiday dessert. It can be garnished with whipped cream for added richness. The slow cooker method provides hands-off cooking while yielding tender, custardy bread pudding infused deeply with pumpkin and warming spices.
