Slutty Brownies Recipe (from scratch)
Description
Slutty Brownies incorporate three distinct components: a cookie dough bottom layer mixed with chocolate chips, a middle layer of whole Oreo cookies, and a top layer of classic boxed brownie batter. The cookie dough provides a rich, slightly chewy foundation with pockets of melted chocolate chips, while the Oreos add a crunchy contrast in the center. The brownie layer bakes on top to create a fudgy, dense topping. Baking in a 9x13 pan ensures the layers fuse, delivering a complex texture and chocolate-forward flavor. This dessert slices into bars ideal for sharing or serving at gatherings.
The baking time of 35 to 45 minutes is important to ensure the brownie is fully cooked without drying out the cookie base. Cooling completely before slicing helps maintain clean edges and lets the layers set properly. This recipe uses a boxed brownie mix for simplicity but combines it with homemade cookie dough to enhance its home-baked appeal.
