How to repurpose cardboard boxes into a cute and easy cell phone costume.

Ingredients
- Cardboard box
- Poster board
- spray paint
Instructions
- First, choose a box that your child can fit inside.
- Paint the outside of your box metallic black, silver, gold -- we used spray paint because it covers large areas quickly.
- Measure and cut a piece of black poster board so that it fits just inside the front of your box, like a phone screen. Glue to secure in place on the front of the box.
- Cut out squares for app buttons, just like you'd have on a real phone. Glue on top of your phone screen.
- Use ribbon to create suspenders for your costume, so that it hangs comfortably on your child's shoulders when they're inside.
- Cut arm holes in the sides of the box.
- Decorate to personalize your phone!
