Smoked Deviled Eggs

These Smoked Deviled Eggs are a show stopping twist on an old classic! Perfectly flavorful and the perfect appetizer to accompany any meal!

Ingredients

Servings
  • 7 large eggs hard boiled and peeled *see Instant Pot recipe above for cooking fresh eggs
  • 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 3 teaspoon chives diced
  • 1 teaspoon brown mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt/Pepper to taste
  • Smoked paprika to sprinkle on top
  • Chupacabra/Slap Ya Mama for an added kick
  • 4 tablespoon Bacon cooked/crumbled (jalapeno bacon is the perfect addition)

Instructions

  1. Prep eggs by boiling them in an Instant Pot.
  2. Set smoker to 180 degrees and allow to preheat for about 15 minutes.
  3. Place hard boiled/peeled eggs directly onto the smoker rack and allow to smoke for about 30 minutes.
  4. Remove eggs and cool.
  5. Slice the eggs lengthwise and remove the yolk, leaving just the white halves.
  6. Place the yolks into a Ziploc bag or piping bag.
  7. Add the mayonnaise, chives, brown mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper to the bag.
  8. Zip the bag closed and combine the ingredients using your hands to squeeze the bag until combined.
  9. Cut the corner of the bag and pipe the yolk mixture evenly into the sliced, hard boiled egg whites.
  10. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon, Slap Ya Mama/Chupacabra, and Paprika on top of the deviled egg filling as a fun final garnish.
  11. Chill until serving! Enjoy!
