Description

Ingredients
- 3 avocado skin and seed removed, ripe
- 2 tablespoons red onion finely minced
- 1 tablespoon chipotle pepper in adobo sauce see notes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin ground
- 1 teaspoon salt sea salt
- 1 small garlic very finely minced, clove
- lime juice from half lime
- liquid smoke see notes, optional, 3 drops
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a medium sized bowl.
- Mash the avocados with a fork then mix everything together.
Notes
- Use chipotle peppers in adobo sauce by chopping one pepper and measuring with enough adobo sauce to total 1 tablespoon for the recipe.
- For a spicier guacamole, add extra adobo sauce to increase heat and smoky flavor.
- Liquid smoke is optional and adds smokiness without additional heat; add about 3 drops if desired.
