Snickerdoodle Bars Recipe

Snickerdoodle Bars combine the soft cinnamon sugar flavor of traditional snickerdoodles in a bar form. The batter layers flour, baking powder, salt, sugars, butter, eggs, and vanilla with a cinnamon-sugar sprinkle between two layers. After baking, a vanilla glaze drizzled on top adds sweetness and smoothness, creating tender bars with familiar cinnamon notes in every bite.

Description

The Snickerdoodle Bars Recipe involves mixing a spiced batter containing all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, sugars, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Half the batter is spread in the pan, topped with a cinnamon-sugar mixture that gives a characteristic snickerdoodle flavor and slight crunch. The remaining batter is dolloped over the cinnamon layer, creating a layered effect. Baking at 350°F produces bars with a golden brown crust and soft, tender crumb. After cooling, a smooth glaze of powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla is drizzled on top for added sweetness and moisture contrast. These bars offer a convenient way to enjoy the classic snickerdoodle flavor in a portable form, suitable as a snack or dessert.
