Snickers Poke Cake Recipe
Description
This no-fuss Snickers Poke Cake uses a boxed devil's food cake mix baked until fully cooked in a rectangular pan. While still warm, holes are poked throughout the cake using chopsticks or a similar tool. Caramel ice cream topping and sweetened condensed milk are poured over the holes, allowing the cake to soak up the sweet, creamy flavors for added moisture and richness.
After chilling, the cake is topped with chopped Snickers candy bars and an even layer of whipped topping. Additional Snickers pieces and optional peanuts can be added as garnish. The dessert combines the deep chocolate flavor of the cake with smooth caramel, sweetened condensed milk richness, and crunchy, nutty candy bits.
The chilled poke cake offers a contrast of textures from moist cake to creamy topping and chewy candy, making it a decadent treat suitable for parties or casual dessert occasions. It is best served cold directly from the refrigerator.
