Sonic Ocean Water Recipe

Sonic Ocean Water is a bright blue tropical drink combining a homemade simple syrup with coconut extract and lemon-lime soda. The syrup balances the soda’s sweetness and adds coconut flavor, while blue food coloring creates the signature oceanic hue. Served over ice, this refreshing beverage can be adapted to taste by adjusting coconut intensity or color, making it a lively choice for casual gatherings or as a fun, fruity refreshment.

Description

Sonic Ocean Water Recipe blends water and sugar microwaved briefly to form a simple syrup as its flavor base. Coconut extract is added for tropical aroma and taste, complemented by lemon-lime soda poured in afterward for effervescence and sweetness. Blue food coloring gives the drink its distinctive sea-blue color reminiscent of ocean water. Served chilled over ice, this drink provides a lightly sweet, citrusy, and coconut-flavored refreshment. The simplicity of the method allows easy scaling for parties or multiple servings. Adjusting food coloring or coconut extract enables customization to preferred flavors or appearance. Garnishing with pineapple slices or maraschino cherries can enhance the tropical character when desired.
