Soup Maker Slimming World Curry Sauce
Description
The Soup Maker Slimming World Curry Sauce combines diced butternut squash, carrot, and onion with garlic and ginger purees, garam masala, curry powder, turmeric, paprika, salt, and pepper. These ingredients are cooked together in a soup maker with warm water for about 28-30 minutes until the vegetables are tender. The soup maker then blends the mixture into a smooth sauce. Additional seasoning can be adjusted after blending to balance flavors.
The resulting sauce has a creamy texture from the cooked squash and carrots, complemented by the fragrant and mildly spicy Indian-inspired seasoning. This sauce serves as a versatile base, capable of being bulked up with vegetables or protein to create a complete curry meal. Its preparation in a soup maker simplifies the cooking and blending process.
This sauce makes enough to fill a large jug and can be frozen for up to three months. It provides a homemade option to replace commercial curry sauces and is suitable for those following the Slimming World diet or looking for a vegetable-based curry base.
