Spaghetti Squash Spaghetti

Spaghetti Squash Spaghetti uses cooked spaghetti squash strands as a pasta substitute, lightly sautéed in butter and seasoned with salt, pepper, and optional mozzarella cheese. It can be served topped with spaghetti sauce, meatballs, parmesan, and fresh basil for a comforting dish with a tender, slightly crisp texture.

Description

This recipe transforms a cooked and drained spaghetti squash into a pasta-like dish by sautéing it in butter to enhance flavor and soften the strands without making them mushy. Seasoning with salt and pepper provides a subtle base, while melting shredded mozzarella cheese atop adds richness and a creamy texture.

The spaghetti squash can be served with your favorite spaghetti sauce and optional meatballs for protein. Fresh basil and parmesan cheese make complementary garnishes that add aroma and savory notes.

For a more buttery finish, sauté the squash in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until softened, then cover it with cheese off the heat until melted. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
