Spicy Chipotle Baked Chicken Wings

These spicy baked chicken wings in chipotle marinade are so easy to prepare and will have you licking your fingers they're so good.

Ingredients
- 1 kg (2lb) chicken wings
- 200 g (7oz) chipotles in adobo
- ½ cup honey
- 2 garlic cloves
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt

Instructions
- Blend chipotle peppers (with the adobo sauce), honey, garlic, smoked paprika, lemon juice, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and a pinch of salt together until smooth.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels then place the chicken wings in a large bowl and pour over the marinade.
- Toss to coat the chicken wings then allow to marinade for at least 20 minutes but ideally overnight, covered in the fridge.
- Preheat the oven to 200ºC/390ºF and line two sheet pans with parchment paper or foil.
- Place the chicken wings in a single layer on the baking sheet and brush liberally with the marinade.
- Place in the oven and allow to bake for 15 minutes until caramelized then turn over the chicken wings.
- Baste with the marinade and bake for another 10-15 minutes until sticky and cooked through. Remove from the oven and serve.
