Ingredients

Servings
  • 1.5-2 pound salmon whole or cut into small fillets, fillet
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced or crushed
  • ¼ cup cilantro minced
  • 1 packet Sazon seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon EACH ground cumin or chili powder or smoked paprika, plus cayenne powder, ground coriander, garlic powder, black pepper, salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • lemon juice of ½ lemon

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 450ºF. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Place salmon on a baking sheet and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic, cilantro, spices, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  3. Brush the mixture onto both sides of the salmon. If using salmon with skin on, only brush the top.
  4. Bake 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees. Garnish with fresh lemon wedges and cilantro before serving.
