Spicy Peanut Noodles

Spicy Peanut Noodles combine creamy peanut butter with a blend of soy sauces, garlic powder, sesame oil, and a spicy kick from Sriracha and Thai red chilies. The udon noodles provide a chewy texture that pairs well with the rich, slightly spicy sauce. Prepared by cooking the noodles briefly and mixing with the flavorful sauce, this dish serves as a satisfying, bold-flavored meal or side.

Description

Spicy Peanut Noodles feature udon noodles paired with a sauce made from creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, dark soy sauce (optional), garlic powder, and sesame oil, balanced with heat from Sriracha and fresh Thai red chilies. The method involves quickly boiling the udon noodles according to package instructions to maintain their chewy texture, then tossing them with the peanut sauce for an even coating. The sauce’s nuttiness combined with garlic and chili flavors creates a layered taste with savory and spicy notes.

The finished noodles can be garnished with green onions and additional diced red chilies to enhance freshness and heat. This combination offers a versatile dish that can be served warm or at room temperature and works well as a light main or a flavorful side. The relatively quick cooking process makes it accessible without requiring complex techniques or many ingredients.
