Spider Pie recipe
Description
This recipe uses chocolate pudding prepared according to the package instructions, poured into small graham cracker cookie crusts. While the pudding chills to set, Oreo cookies are crushed to add a textured layer that resembles a dark, crumbly surface. Licorice pieces are cut to create spider legs, and red hot candies provide the focal point for eyes or accents. Once assembled, the pies are kept refrigerated until serving to maintain the pudding's firmness and the overall shape of the spider decoration.
The dessert combines familiar flavors and textures suitable for themed events or children's treats. The easy assembly process allows for a creative presentation using common packaged ingredients.
