Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey 93% lean
- 5 ounces frozen spinach thawed and excess water removed
- ½ cup feta cheese
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove of garlic minced
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
- For serving: whole wheat buns, sliced tomatoes, lettuce leaves, sliced cucumber, prepared tzatziki yogurt sauce
- Place the turkey, spinach, feta cheese, salt, pepper, garlic, egg and lemon juice in a large bowl. Mix until well combined and shape into 4 patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the patties to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- Serve immediately on white wheat buns topped with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and tzatziki sauce.
Notes
- you may use ground chicken in place of ground turkey
- use any bread of choice.
- spinach: use fresh or frozen spinach
