Steak Fajita Marinade

This Steak Fajita Marinade blends olive oil, lime juice, spices including cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, and fresh garlic to infuse flavor into whole steak cuts. The marinade tenderizes meat and melds with sliced fajita vegetables. Marinating for several hours enhances the taste and aroma, resulting in flavorful, juicy steak slices ideal for fajita dishes.

Description

The Steak Fajita Marinade combines acidity from lime juice with savory elements like soy sauce, garlic, and a blend of spices such as cumin, smoked paprika, onion powder, chili powder, and black pepper. The olive oil base allows even coating and moisture retention. This mixture is designed specifically for marinating whole steaks rather than pre-sliced pieces, allowing the meat to absorb the flavors uniformly.

After marination, the steak and vegetables are cooked according to preference, and resting the steak before slicing promotes juiciness. The aromatic spices and acidity balance complement typical fajita vegetables such as onions and bell peppers, producing a harmonious, savory flavor suited to fajita servings.

Marinate the steak for at least two hours, preferably six to eight hours, to maximize tenderness and flavor penetration. Use a resealable bag or covered bowl to keep the ingredients contained during the process.
